Kanuma city is famous for satsuki plants and Japanese traditional woodwork like Kumiko (decorative handmade latticework) ,as well as Japanese-style furniture. The Kumiko of Kanuma are made of hinoki (Japanese cypress). Here are some images of wood workshops and Kumiko products.
